And another one, back at it with my latest offering ‘November 2021: Best In Fashion’. This month I’ve included celebrity outfits that spoke to me, street style snaps that I’m drawn towards as winter kicks in, and new-in product drops/brand launches that should be on your radar.

Celebrity fashion
Kendall Jenner in all of the autumnal tones has me ready for my winter wardrobe. It’s rare to spot a KarJenner in something high-street, but this Mango knitted tank sold out as soon as the model was spotted in it. But don’t fret, the high-street has plenty of other affordable versions that’ll ward off any winter chill.
I appreciate it when I see a celebrity embrace comfy cool casual dressing while looking stylish, and not like they’ve just rolled out of bed - which is what I happen to do most of the time. Emily Ratajkowski has that effortless New York appeal a lot of others try hard to replicate, but don’t quite hit the mark.
If you haven’t seen Lady Gaga serve looks during the House of Gucci press tour, I don’t know where you’ve been. This head-to-to monogram Gucci ensemble is exactly what I imagine a rich Italian heiress to a luxury fashion brand would wear, Gaga brings her usual grunge edge by teaming the look with her staple platforms.
Street style
Brown tones, brown tones, brown tones. I’ve always been wary of wearing brown, because well you know, I am brown, but clearly I need to get with it as brown tones have the capability to look effortlessly luxe and expensive.
One of my favourite fashion content creators to follow is Copenhagen based Emili Sindlev, who’s clashing of colours, prints and textures in her outfit combinations have me reassessing my wardrobe choices.
Back at it with the brown tones, something about these warm and comforting hues has me embracing the changing of the seasons and cooler weather. Oversized longline jackets are very much my vibe, and I’m no stranger to a chunky boot this time of year.
New-in product drops/brand launches
This heavyweight wool coat from The Frankie Shop shot to the top of my wish list as soon as I saw the new colour way on the brands IG account. Padded shoulders, peaked lapels, a crossover button closure and satin lined - what’s not to love?
I totally caved and bought this Martha Calvo signet ring after seeing it on Instagram - thank you aggressive social media marketing I can’t opt out of. Anyways, I’m glad I did as every time I look at it makes me smile. Very cute, very millennial.
I stumbled across this tote bag on the @blackownedeverything Instagram account, designer Maryam Pugh explores social justice themes through her heritage brand and screen printing workshops - pretty damn cool.
What do you think of this new shorter fashionable format, do you like this ‘best in fashion’ post? Are these looks giving you outfit inspiration? Have you added some of these items to your wish lists?
