We need fashion to be circular, not spiralling 🙃 I appreciate your round-up though!

Agreed! A sense of stability would be nice... but maybe that's asking too much?

Absolutely, it is asking too much. Because we can't ask a system that profits from chaos to give us stability. That cultural make-up is not going anywhere—or at least until it starts melting off our faces🌡️🌍 To bring back stability we need us, the people, the taste-makers, the pedestalisers, to start questioning this system obsessed with trends, seasons, cycles etc. Cause those are the destabilising forces.

I hear you, and you’re right — expecting stability from a system that thrives on chaos is a contradiction. It’s built to keep us chasing, never settling. But if that cultural makeup is so deeply embedded, how do we realistically shift the tide? It seems like the power still lies with us — the ones who dictate what gets pedestalised, what trends, what holds value. Maybe the real rebellion is in slowing down, resisting the churn, and redefining what holds weight beyond the fleeting cycles

Great roundup! While I am hoping LVMH's Kapital acquisition means Kapital will be a little more accessible/easier-to-find, I hope this doesn't mean it loses out on its quality.

Exactly! Don't want the heritage and craftsmanship of Kapital to be watered down for profit
